About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Gresham, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access and orderly operations.
Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, unsecured doors, and/or other site issues observed during patrols, and follow post orders for escalation and incident reporting.
