As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access control operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming, professional environment. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other designated areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site requirements; direct authorized visitors and contractors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs related to patrols, incidents, access-control observations, and security-related concerns.
