As a Security Officer Patrol Observation Reporting in Teterboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver entry requirements, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Observe and report security-related conditions, damaged property, unusual activity, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
