About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Our unarmed patrol officers in a government location monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and documenting security-related incidents and/or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or local authorities as appropriate.
