About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Support shipping and receiving activity by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, maintaining post records, and communicating clearly with site personnel regarding security-related matters.
