About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Military Experience in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the lobby, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and support security-related screening, escort, and reporting procedures.
Support closing and opening routines, observe cash-handling and ATM service areas from a security-related presence standpoint, and report maintenance, life-related, and property-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
