As a Security Officer Patrol Investigator in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities across the campus location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to supervisors and/or campus contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter trespassing, policy violations, and/or disruptions, while following post orders and location protocols.
• Assist with directional support, visitor interactions, and routine security-related concerns in academic and administrative areas, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
