About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Investigator in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support package, amenity, and/or residential community protocols in accordance with post instructions.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location while communicating professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff regarding rules, directions, and security-related concerns.
