Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this people-first role, you will support guests and staff through clear communication, dependable teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile and reliable presence to each shift.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and customer care expectations within a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest-facing areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces for security-related concerns, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy violations according to post procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and providing clear information to guests and staff during unusual events.
