About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Inspection in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of parking areas, perimeter fencing, vehicle storage areas, shipping and receiving locations, and other assigned property areas to help identify unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, communicate relevant information during shift handoffs, and work collaboratively with site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
