As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Hazard Reporting in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a large technology facility location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access activity and assist with visitor management, credential verification, and direction of authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift handoff information.
