About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Guest Services in Warrenton, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts when requested, and help maintain an orderly environment for patients and visitors.
  • Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
