In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, communicate with professionalism, and deliver strong customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor permissions, and report access control concerns in accordance with site protocols.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directions and general questions, and reporting maintenance, life protection, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.
