About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Gated Community in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor, resident, and/or contractor entry procedures in accordance with property rules and post instructions.
  • Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols to the appropriate contacts, and support Allied Universal protocols for incident reporting and follow-up.
