About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Emergency Preparedness in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and security-related activity, and respond professionally to alarms or concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
  • Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific procedures.
