As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Harbor in Dana Point, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and marina guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial waterfront property, including parking areas, docks, common areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication with property representatives and the public.
