Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial services location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, monitor access points, verify badges, and document security-related activity. You will remain highly visible to help reduce incidents, assist employees and visitors with clear communication, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to management and/or public emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, observing for unusual activity and/or policy violations. Control access to restricted areas by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures. Complete detailed patrol and incident reports, document observations, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Possess a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Requirements
