As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to help deter incidents while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorized entry where applicable, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
