Join Allied Universal at a hotels and resorts location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol guest-facing areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls, document observations, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication and teamwork. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific post orders, access procedures, and other security-related protocols at a hotel and resort location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the property, including lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor and report security-related conditions such as unsecured doors, loitering, suspicious behavior, and policy violations, completing detailed incident reports and shift logs.
- Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including alarms, evacuations, and directing guests and/or staff to designated areas per site procedures.
