Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will also deliver strong customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated locations to help support authorized access, observe site activity, and document security-related incidents according to post procedures.
  • Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and daily observations while following Allied Universal standards and location policies.
