As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Bay City, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor foot traffic, assist with directions and/or general information, and support a professional presence during business hours, peak traffic periods, and special events.
Observe and report potential hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate with local site contacts and emergency services when needed.
