About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Graniteville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry of personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
Support daily operations by observing for facility issues, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, then communicating findings through required reports and proper chain of command.
