As a Security Officer - Office Tower Patrol Driver in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will manage entry points, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and support a professional lobby experience. You will conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with on-site teams to help reduce incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to an agile, reliable, innovative team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Control access at building entrances, parking areas and restricted spaces by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing access logs and coordinating with property management as needed.
Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting activities and communicating updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, tenant corridors, exterior perimeter and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.
Monitor and operate access control systems, cameras and intercoms, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns and/or policy issues according to post orders.
