About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media studio location as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer. You will conduct routine patrols across buildings and exterior areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and a customer-first approach. Requirements

  • A minimum of 6+ months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and media production location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of studio buildings, sound stages, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site teams and contacting emergency services when directed.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate notable conditions to supervisors and site contacts, and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and relevant details.
