As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will drive and/or walk assigned routes, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and assist guests and staff with clear communication and service. You will document observations, respond to incidents, and support site operations with professionalism. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident documentation and communication to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, common areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, potential theft activity, and policy violations, and report observations through established reporting channels.
Support loss prevention and store operations by providing visible presence, assisting with customer inquiries, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
