About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in SHADY GROVE, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor site activity, observe for unusual behavior, and communicate with supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency services when needed to support security-related operations.
Assist with traffic flow, visitor direction, and/or checkpoint activity as needed while maintaining a visible presence and following post orders.
