You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, support access control at gates and docks, and help identify and report security-related concerns while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Have access control and badge experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, yard, loading dock areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting hazards or suspicious activity.
- Monitor access control points for employees, contractors, and drivers by verifying authorization, supporting visitor processing, and directing traffic flow as required by site policy.
- Complete detailed reports and shift logs, communicate with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and assist with investigations by preserving observations and/or relevant information.
