Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests, tenants, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a reliable, agile, and people-first approach while working as part of a team and acting with integrity every day.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned parts of the location to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and tenant activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd management, directions, and general assistance during busy shopping periods, special events, and/or closing procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
