Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted-access points, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
