As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols of the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents, and offering outstanding customer service to everyone onsite. You will be highly visible throughout your shift, ready to address situations as they arise. This is a driving position, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution environment, including the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to support access control and help to deter unauthorized activity within the location.
Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed to support a secure environment.
