Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid are preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entry and exit points, checking for proper identification and helping to maintain authorized access to restricted areas.
Document observations and incidents clearly and accurately in daily activity reports and/or incident reports.
Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and/or client staff as needed to address security-related concerns.
Remain alert to surroundings and potential risks while on patrol to help to deter suspicious behavior in and around the location.
