As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic commercial real estate location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity in and around the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by site protocols.
  • Assist with crowd management and access control during events or periods of increased activity at the location.
