As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will patrol on foot and by vehicle, monitor key areas, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and provide customer service through clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, where teamwork, integrity, and an agile, people-first culture support your work.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor management, deliveries, and directing traffic flow in designated areas.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and/or shift logs with clear, accurate details, and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
