As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol Driver in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring an agile, reliable approach, a caring attitude, and integrity as you support daily operations through teamwork and innovation.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, building interiors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, and verify approved entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe site operations and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
