About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a busy retail and entertainment location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, activity zones, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and/or employee activity to help to deter disruptions, support crowd management, and report suspicious behavior.
  • Document incidents, policy-related concerns, and/or maintenance issues accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
