Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to property management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, identify maintenance-related concerns, and document notable activity.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and common areas while assisting with badge or credential checks, directions, and other tenant-focused support in alignment with site protocols.
- Complete routine reports and shift documentation, including incident details, patrol findings, and/or daily activity logs, while communicating relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
