About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
