About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Rosemount, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observed activity and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, loading zones, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or vendor activity, and report unusual conditions to help support orderly site operations.
Help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations through visible presence, routine observations, and timely reporting.
