Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic transportation location, where you will monitor activity, patrol assigned areas, and support a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, employee spaces, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior.
  • Support transportation operations by assisting with crowd management, directional assistance, and/or public interaction while following Allied Universal standards and location procedures.
