Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Scott, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, check doors and sensitive spaces, and respond to calls for assistance with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements to support vehicle patrols and quick presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disruptive behavior, and medical or facility-related emergencies per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, assisting with wayfinding, directing visitors to appropriate departments, and documenting security-related activity in logs and reports.
• Communicate clearly with site staff, local responders, and Allied Universal supervision as needed, using radios and/or phones to relay observations, request assistance, and support incident documentation.
