Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Wright, WY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a utilities location as an unarmed patrol officer with a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, support employees and visitors with professional customer service, and communicate clearly with site contacts. Bring integrity and teamwork to document observations, respond to concerns, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor check-in, verifying authorization where applicable and directing individuals to the appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site representatives and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff.
