As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to tenant and visitor needs with strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity as assigned, assisting with access control processes, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and supporting tenant and property management requests.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, and communicate notable conditions to oncoming officers and/or site management.
