As an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
