Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial processing location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
