As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist customers and store teams with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, and/or property concerns, and notify management and/or public authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for policy compliance, suspicious behavior, and/or loss prevention concerns, escalating issues per post orders.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
