As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support site operations across assigned areas while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative values through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and supporting security-related protocols throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues.
  • Document daily activities, incident details, and/or observations in required reports, and report damaged equipment, unsecured entry points, or other concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post instructions, assisting with orderly site actions, and helping to direct employees and/or visitors during unusual events.
