About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, drive throughout assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and vehicle entry procedures to help support authorized access and orderly operations at the location.
• Observe industrial equipment areas and operational spaces for hazards, suspicious activity, and/or unauthorized persons, and report concerns according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
