About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or unsecured access points.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, observe cameras and alarm systems when assigned, and report suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with visitor directions, access control tasks, and routine reporting while helping to maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
