Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, access points, and perimeter areas within a professional aerospace and defense location.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Support site operations by communicating with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders during investigations, evacuations, and other security-related events.
