As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Support access control activities by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
