About The Position
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route in DALY CITY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and community activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Communicate with property management, residents, and/or local first responders when needed regarding incidents, access concerns, and other security-related matters.
